Indiakira is painted with colours characteristic for lands most of us can see only on postcards. It is not only a piece of furniture with large drawers for storing things, but also an original, stylish element of the interior design, which sets the tone for the whole space arrangement and makes you feel as if you are relaxing under the palm trees. You can almost hear the waves and exotic birds singing! This chest of drawers constitutes an integral part of the modern trends in interior design and looks perfect standing by a plain wall as well as when combined with bright colours.

RECLAIMED WOOD

In a way, we go against the grain in a world where TIME is the only thing that matters. The manufacturing process of our furniture cannot be rushed – the wood has to grow old and acquire a layer of patina. Neither do we speed up this process, nor style the furniture to look old. The wood is authentic and if it has irregular traces of paint, it is a mark of the former life of the used raw material. We reclaim the wood and give it a new life. That is why every project is so unique – it has many histories. We only bring out its beauty, adjusting it to the needs of modern customers. Each chest of drawers or cupboard is different and does not come from mass production. The furniture is hand-made and therefore produced with the utmost attention to detail.

WOOD CARE

Our furniture is intended for internal use only. The wood they are made of has been subjected to special drying processes. Depending on such factors as humidity, temperature or the way the furniture is used, deformations or cracks may occur on them, due to the continuous “work” of wood. To protect them from damage and excessive wear, and increase their life, you should follow a few caution and maintenance rules:
– do not use sprays, detergents or silicone wax on the furniture surface
– use cleaning agents for varnished furniture, as well as delicate sponges and cloths for cleaning
– always wipe furniture dry
– do not place hot or cold dishes directly on the countertop
– use pads when you write or otherwise physically affect the surface of the wood
– do not place furniture near heat sources such as radiators, stoves or an oven
– keep the room at an optimal temperature between 18 and 23 degrees Celsius and humidity of 40-60%
– polish the furniture with beeswax once every few months
